As Finance Manager for Humidity Control Technologies (HCT) Italy, you will be the strategic financial partner for the Business Unit, responsible for financial reporting, business control, investment activities, tax and treasury, risk management, and payroll. You will also lead the local Finance team, drive improvements in financial processes, and ensure compliance with both Italian regulations and Munters global policies.
This hybrid role allows flexibility to work remotely but requires regular presence at our office in Imperia.
Your Opportunity
Management Accounting
- Coordinate all financial reporting for Munters Humidity Control Italy S.r.l.
- Ensure accurate and compliant financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, equity).
- Lead and develop the local Finance team.
- Liaise with the AirTech EMEA Finance Director and Group Finance for effective and timely internal reporting.
Tax, Treasury & Risk Handling
- Monitor and mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with tax reporting, treasury operations, and government requirements.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring successful completion with no material findings.
- Safeguard assets by maintaining an effective control environment supported by robust processes and systems.
- Handle transfer pricing queries and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to the Munters Financial Manual and corporate policies.
Business Control
- Conduct regular cost centre reviews with the BU Leader.
- Manage departmental costs within budget, commenting on deviations.
- Support profitable growth by driving performance measurement and working capital improvements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting.
Payroll Management
- Manage and prepare monthly payroll in coordination with an external payroll provider.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and continuous process improvements.
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in finance/accounting, ideally in an international environment.
- Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in Italy.
- Hands-on experience with audits, risk handling, and treasury operations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
- Previous leadership experience required; ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Fluency in both Italian and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, or Italian qualification ODCEC) are a plus but not required.
- Highly analytical, well-organized, precise, and able to balance multiple priorities.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
