The plant specializes in bautomotive seating systems /b for major OEMs and plays a bstrategic role in European program launches /b, integrating advanced engineering capabilities with strong quality standards to support Lear’s global operations. /p pbPurpose of the Role /b /p pThe APQP Engineer ensures that bAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) /b activities for new program launches meet bLear and Customer quality safety requirements /b — on time and in line with standards. They support the bPozzo d’Adda Plant /b through all development phases, transferring knowledge, monitoring quality performance, and identifying risks up to post-launch. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate and track all bAPQP deliverables /b, ensuring compliance with content, timing, and customer standards. /li liIntegrate bCustomer Quality Requirements /b into DFMEA (Engineering) and PFMEA (Plant). /li liMonitor and report program quality status before SoP, preparing Launch Cards and Quality Packs. /li liSupport bSupplier Quality /b and bPlant teams /b on Control Plans, KPC, Safe Launch (GP12), and audits. /li liSupport bCustomer PPAP /b presentations and Root Cause Analyses to drive improvements. /li liEnsure full compliance with bIATF 16949 /b and Customer Specific Requirements. /li liIdentify and communicate quality risks during all program phases. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in bEngineering /b (Mechanical, Industrial or related). /li li3–5 years’ experience in bautomotive quality, APQP or program launch /b. /li liKnowledge of APQP methodology, IATF standards, PFMEA/DFMEA, PPAP, and Safe Launch. /li liFluent in bItalian and English /b, both spoken and written. /li liStrong analytical, organizational and communication skills. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience in a bTier 1 automotive environment /b. /li liExposure to OEM quality activities and audits. /li liFamiliarity with supplier quality processes and poka-yoke systems. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
