Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars. /p pbYour Role: /bbr/As a Safety Assurance Manager you will manage, perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects. /p pIn particular,manage, perform and ensure the safety acticities related to the ETCS trackside or IXL group within the RC Mainline Wayside team. /p pbLocation: /b This position is open both in Bologna, Rome and Bari /p ulliCoordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the Projects of his/her perimeter as per Safety process defined in Signaling Safety Instruction /liliPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, VV, TC activities from a Safety perspective /liliDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planning /liliBuild the Safety Reports and the Safety Cases /liliApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the Project /liliAttend to periodic Safety Reviews /liliDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors /liliCoordinate Safety Assurance Engineers involved on ETCS and/or IXL projects /liliSupport the review of eventual safety issues and theirroot cause identification and mitigation measures /li /ul pbQualifications: /b /p ulliEngineering degree (preferably Electronic Enginnering) or similar /liliItalian and English operational in speaking/reading/writing for technical documentation /liliKnowledge concerning the Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology concepts/principles /liliStrongexperience in RAMS / Functional Safety Assurance is an asset /liliMastering full engineering cycle (from specification to validation tasks) and related interactions /liliExperience in evaluating and monitoring the workload and the schedule of safety activies on multiple complex projects /liliBehavioural Competencies;Structured and organized; Proactive behaviour; Sense of anticipation and urgency /liliAbility to execute and coordinate analyses, design reviews and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards procedures in accordance with project /liliBe a detail-oriented individual, thoughtful and deliberate in your approach to conducting research and analyses /liliPossess a strong work ethic and be task focused.
