RESEARCH ENGINEER – MULTIPHYSICS MODELING AND DSP
Elettromedia S.p.A., a leading company in car, marine, and professional audio entertainment, is looking for an Engineer to join its Research and Innovation team.
Role and Responsibilities
* Model and simulate dynamic systems to optimize the performance of audio products; validate models against experimental tests; document models and analyze results.
* Monitor scientific and technological trends; review technical literature and patents; assess technical feasibility.
* Develop and validate digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms; analyze data to optimize performance; integrate algorithms into larger projects in collaboration with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team; write technical documentation; evaluate new methodologies and technologies.
Required Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Information Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
* Programming skills in MATLAB and Python.
* Good knowledge of numerical methods, modeling, and dynamic system control.
* Solid understanding of digital signal processing.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Collaborative attitude, attention to detail, and passion for innovation.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics modeling.
* Knowledge of audio and acoustic measurement tools and techniques.
* Experience in academic or industrial research projects.
Work location
The work will be carried out mainly at the headquarters of Elettromedia S.p.A., Strada Regina km 3.500, 62018 Potenza Picena (MC), Italy. Availability for business trips in Italy and abroad is required.
