Job Description:
Configuration Controller
The configuration controller is responsible for managing the "as planned" production configuration and ensuring compliance with the "as designed" technical configuration defined by the SDR. They produce relevant technical data and support the compilation of documentation necessary for helicopter delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process planning and scheduling:
* Analyze the "As to be Built" configuration issued by the SDR and define the compliant "As Planned" configuration for implementation by the systems methodists in the relevant SMCs.
* Support Certifying Staff by providing the status of the "As Planned" configuration compared to the "As Designed".
* Analyze requirements defined by the Airworthiness SDR (Directive, Service Bulletin, PTA) applicable to the helicopter, managing related documentation.
* Serve as the point of contact for production within the modification committee, coordinating impact analyses and defining incorporation points.
* Provide business partners and the Supply Chain with data set design documentation, supply specifications, etc.
* Ensure compliance with company regulations and procedures, resolving internal conflicts effectively.
* Facilitate information transfer between users through effective communication tools.
* Participate in drafting drawing modification requests (C.R.), analyze non-conformity reports (QN, AR), and support technical solutions search.
Knowledge requirements include:
* Components and parts of a helicopter
* Specific technical documentation
* Structural characteristics of common materials (steel, aluminium, carbon fibre, etc.) and manufacturing tolerances
* Sector regulations (ISO standards, EASA, ENAC, safety, quality, etc.)
Requirements:
* Qualification: Degree in Engineering (preferably Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronic, Electrotechnical) or Technical high school diploma.
* Experience: Junior/Expert (1-5 years)
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical/electrical production processes, testing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, understanding of main processes, standard equipment, and manufacturing specifications.
* Languages: English
* IT Skills: Office suite
* Soft Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, customer orientation
* Other: Willingness to travel
