He/ She will manage and assure all accounting, tax and treasury processes, the maintenance of the statutory books in accordance with the Italian accounting standards, tax and legal requirements; support the internal and external controls (financial audits, etc.). Will also actively support change management and innovation initiatives.brbThe selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:br/bbTreasury and Cash Managementbr/b /pulliGuarantee payment management and related taxes (for example withholding taxes) respecting the scheduled deadlines. /liliSupervise daily booking of bank, cash and credit cards transactions in accordance with the Italian accounting standards. /liliPrepare cash report requested by the head office.br/li /ulbFinancial Statementbr/bulliContribute to the definition of the annual financial statements for NABA and Domus Academy in compliance with all legal requirements /liliAssure the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements: GL account reconciliation, cost accruals, deferrals. /liliPrepare reclassification journal entries to ensure the correct analytical registration of the costs. /liliCoordinate activities with external consultants (auditors, tax advisors, labor consultants, lawyers). /liliInterface with intercompany accounting staff to prepare monthly intercompany journal entries. /liliTogether with the controlling unit, on monthly basis, analyze the significant difference present in the GL accounts.br/li /ulbAsset managementbr/bulliCreate asset records, proceed with capitalization, amortization, depreciation, revaluation, and disposals. /liliReconciliation between GL account and asset book.br/li /ulbTax activitiesbr/bulliOn monthly basis prepares the F24 for withholding taxes payment, transmission of cross-border transactions via SdI (ex-“esterometro”), INTRASTAT model, periodical VAT returns. /liliInterfacing with external consultants prepare all documents requested for annual VAT declaration, quarterly VAT communication, IRES and IRAP declaration, 770 model. /liliSupervise and controls the accuracy of annual “CU” (only for independent workers) respecting the scheduled deadlines.br/li /ulbEmployee Reimbursement Expensesbr/bulliSupervise the correct employee expense reimbursements process according to Travel Policy to be communicated to the HR.br/li /ulbAccount Payablebr/bulliSupervise and coordinate team for all accounts payable process including consultants and external faculty with focus on the control of the invoiced teacher hours by matching them with the contract and their attendance (online registers) /liliCollection of supplier’s invoices with authorised PO, matching PO data with invoices, booking teachers’ invoices in NABAgest and codification to book them in the accounting system (SAP). /liliProvide assistance to external faculty and consultants for finance aspects in order to be compliant with Italian fiscal/tax law and Finance guidelines.br/li /ulbPeople Leadership and Managementbr/bulliDrive team is correctly updated and archived on an ongoing basis.br/li /ulbRequirementsbr/bulliBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field. /liliAt least 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with solid exposure to General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Treasury. /liliProven experience in team coordination and people management. /liliStrong knowledge of Italian accounting principles and tax regulations (VAT, withholding taxes, F24, Intrastat, etc.). /liliHands-on experience in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities. /liliExperience in financial statement preparation and coordination with auditors and external consultants. /liliGood knowledge of asset accounting (capitalization, depreciation, disposals). /liliExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in MS Excel. /liliAbility to manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations. /liliStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. /liliExcellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. /liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders. /liliProactive, hands-on and solution-oriented approach. /liliFluency in Italian and good command of English (written and spoken).br/li
