Executive Leadership Opportunity
Seeking a Strategic President / General Manager with a proven track record in operational excellence and business leadership. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to develop and execute strategies that enhance efficiency and drive sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
* Operational Planning & Oversight of Production Operations:
* Review, update, and continuously improve all company operations and employment policies.
* Identify and quantify necessary CAPEX to improve manufacturing throughput and efficiency.
* Identify areas where resources could be best applied within the organization and in support of customer needs.
* Improve profit, efficiency, product quality, safety, and overall processes.
* Oversight of product quality.
* Lead cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, IT, HR, production) to ensure alignment and cohesive strategies.
* Ensure regulatory compliance.
Strategic and Financial Management:
* Contribute to and manage the annual sales plan and budget.
* Monitor financial health of the business.
* Identify and track KPIs to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
* Lead the senior leadership team in strategic planning and growth initiatives.
* Manage operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
* Oversight of inventory management and control.
Team Development:
* Identify and address gaps in the team structure.
* Oversight of recruitment, hiring, coaching, development, and training of employees.
* Set key performance goals aligned with company objectives.
* Promote innovation, growth, and a customer-centric approach.
* Foster a high-performance culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Customer & Supplier Engagement:
* Collaborate with program managers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Manage communication with key suppliers.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and growth.
* Contribute to marketing strategies, including website updates, trade shows, and expanding target audiences.
Innovation & Trends:
* Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitors.
* Stay ahead of market changes to position the company for long-term success.
Experience / Requirements:
* Relevant leadership experience in manufacturing.
* Ability to lead, coach, and train teams.
* Knowledge of applicable regulations.
* Lean/Six Sigma training preferred.
* Higher education degree a plus.
* Proficiency with financial and operations planning software.
* Strategic thinking and forward planning skills.
* Ability to implement organizational change while gaining employee buy-in.
