Role description : As an ESIA & Environmental Permitting Consultant, you will join our fast-growing Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting team at Arcadis and have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging development projects in the domestic and international market. You will be working in a multidisciplinary and global team with a particular focus on Energy Transition and have the opportunity to rapidly improve your professional skills and network. You have previous industry experience and knowledge in project development, excellent attention to detail and goal orientation, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and project teams. Role accountabilities : Contribute technical or project management expertise in Environmental permitting procedures (EIA, VIA, AIA, AU); Provide technical support and project management for Renewable Energy Projects (Wind / Photovoltaic / Hydrogen); Support the development of large and multidisciplinary projects with technical and/or project management roles. Qualifications & Experience : Around 5 years of experience in the environmental sector and related consultancy services; Studies: Degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences; Fluent in Italian (native speaker) and English (B2 / C1); Excellent writing and presentation skills with a team-oriented attitude and ability to build professional relationships with clients; Proactive team player willing to share knowledge, skills, and ideas; Availability to travel within Italy and abroad; Proficiency in office software; Knowledge of GIS software is a plus.
