TXT E-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with experience in real-time development to join the Aerospace & Defence Business Unit team.
The ideal candidate is motivated and curious, with a strong passion for technology, a problem-solving mindset, and a desire to grow professionally in a dynamic environment. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse team and will be involved in low-level software analysis and development on real-time operating systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Ownership and analysis of requirements;
Implementation of high-level software components in an RTOS environment;
Integration and testing of different modules;
Preparation of technical documentation.
Required Technical Skills:
Knowledge of RTOS systems, with hands-on experience in PikeOS, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or equivalent;
At least 3 years of experience in C++ software development and/or bare-metal programming in C, particularly on embedded targets based on ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V, or custom microcontrollers (implemented on FPGA);
Experience in real-time systems development: deterministic software design, priority management, interrupts, task scheduling;
Knowledge of main version control and code management tools;
Skills in structured and object-oriented software design: knowledge of architectural patterns and optimization techniques for embedded/RTOS systems.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with safety-critical systems (e.g. DO-178C, ISO 26262, IEC 61508);
Experience in timing performance analysis and profiling;
Knowledge of real-time communication buses (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART).
Education:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or Telecommunications.
Strong teamwork skills and a problem-solving attitude complete the profile.
