We were meant to fly. /p pSupplier quality engineer shall drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Own supplier audits and product qualification, ensuring compliance. Drive supplier results and improvements according to the company KPIs targets. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development /li liAct as primary interface between supplier and GE Avio Aero for any quality issues. Work in collaboration with Sourcing and Engineering, Manufacturing to eliminate roadblocks and barrier. Develop compliance solutions to complex problems. Lead RCCA process /li liApprove supplier selection through robust qualification processes and part qualification. /li liEnsure that suppliers comply with quality requirements, including technical regulation and standards by owning the surveillance and perform quality audits /li liProactive monitoring of the performance of suppliers to ensure that they remain in a state of control /li liLeading the effort to drive improvement and for the development assessment of quality metrics, KPIs and reports associated with suppliers /li liSuppliers Quality Plan implementation /li liAll other duties as assigned by manager /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Mechanics or Materials/Chemical engineering with metallurgical orientation /li liPrevious experience in the same role in automotive or aerospace companies /li liExperience/knowledge of forging and casting processes /li liAbility to read fluently technical drawing and regulations /li liBasic knowledge of Quality tools /li liBasic knowledge of measurement method and inspection technique /li liFluency in English and Italian /li liAvailability to frequent travel, EU and abroad /li liWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics /h3 ul liAbility to work in a global environment /li liLeadership with suppliers duties /li liStrong oral and written communication skills /li liInterpersonal and teamwork skills /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
