Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of : Pipeline Development Team - focused on delivering innovation and programs leadership accountabilities in close collaboration with RD,Commercial Portfolio Management Team - focused on maximizing the benefit for the patients and the full potential of marketed / close-to-launch assets, including Life Cycle Management strategies. /ppAir and Care Franchises are also supported by the Medical Affairs, Value Access, and Business Excellence Customer Experience Global functions. /ppMedical Affairs, Value Access, and Business Excellence Customer Experience Global functions /ppWithin these departments, you will actively support the Air and Care Franchises businesses. Theseunits are responsible forthe development and implementation of theTherapeutic Area Strategies. Each Franchise is organized by stage of development with fully empowered and enhanced teams of : Pipeline Development and Commercial Portfolio Management. /ppWhowe are looking for /ppbPurpose /b /ppReporting to the Vice President Pipeline Development AIR, the Head New Product Planning will lead the New Product Planning team to execute AIR Franchise vision and optimize pre-POC pipeline programs with market and commercial insights and assess external assets. /ppbMain Responsibilities /b /pulliGuided by a patient centric mindset, provide future market vision and treatment landscapes for relevant disease areas in priority markets /liliPartner closely with Business Development to execute franchise pipeline strategy /liliOversee all external asset screening and due diligence for the franchise /liliRefine commercial assessment and business case development methodology for pipeline assets to enable effective decision making /liliServe as the central integrator of information, insights, and perspectives from global (Marketing, Market access, Competitive intelligence, Medical affair) and regional (Region heads, affiliates) stakeholders to shape early commercialization strategy /liliCollaborate with other stakeholders (e.g., Center of Innovation, Digital) to further pipeline development /liliMaintain high level of competitive intelligence within responsible disease areas /liliDevelop team member(s) and continuously improve internal processes and methodology where needed /li /ulpbExperience Required /b /pulliApproximately 8 years Business / Commercial, Strategy or Corporate Development experience within the pharma / biotech / biopharma space /liliExperience in financial modelling is required /liliConsulting experience preferred /liliExperience in pulmonary diseases and / or rare diseases preferred /liliExperience on drug development program teams preferred /liliExperience in global strategic marketing highly preferred /li /ulpbEducation /b /ppBS / BA in a relevant academic field; MBA, MD, PhD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred /ppbSoft Skills /b /pulliOutstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities /liliProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders /liliSkilled at navigating ambiguity and developing solutions in the absence of complete information /liliExcellent verbal, written and executive communication skills; ability to make the complex clear /li /ulpLanguages Location /ppThis role is based in US /ppWhat we offer /ppYou would join a dynamic, fast-growing, challenging and friendly environment. /ppIn Chiesi we firmly believe that our people are our most valuable asset, that is why we invest in continuous training, learning and development.
