We are seeking a Music Executive to join the dynamic global music team for Amazon MGM Studios. This role oversees all music needs associated with the Studios' original television series and Amazon Original Movies (AOM) across multiple Indian languages. This role will be an integral part to the global music team and will be located in Mumbai, India. You'll have experience in TV and Movie music production and music supervision, you will use your robust knowledge of music and your network of relationships in the entertainment and music industry in India to drive successful projects.ResponsibilitiesOversee music supervision/curation of designated productions across languages on behalf of studio.Read Scripts and co-ordinate with various internal & external stakeholders to assess scope of music (songs + score) in screenplays.Recommend key music hires (music composers, supervisors, singer-songwriters etc) as per the script requirement.Work closely with internal stakeholders for management and tracking of music budgets, talent deals, scoring process, music delivery, and music licensing for designated productions.Utilize a deep understanding of music licensing for film and TV to ensure success of projects.Manage and track music delivery requirements of projects as per the various milestones.Partner effectively across internal divisions (Content development, Business Affairs, Production, Legal, Marketing, social media, Monetisation team etc.) and with external partners using excellent communication skills.Work with music label partners in the region to seek wide release for soundtracks.Collaborate with marketing teams to identify and develop music marketing opportunities for title promotions.Assist marketing team with licensing/curating music for various marketing campaigns.Basic Qualifications5+ years full time experience of working as a music supervisor at a film studio/tv production house or with a music composer or as an A&R at a record label.Experience dealing with music talent and should possess a strong network/existing relationship with music talent and labels – is a must.Should have a thorough understanding of India music business and music rights management.Should have prior experience in Film / TV music licensing.Project management and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsShould have an experience of managing a team and working in large set ups.Robust knowledge of technical requirements & music nuances in the Indian music context.Should be an avid music listener with a deep understanding of main stream and new age music.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
