You will lead initiatives to decarbonize transportation, optimize resources, and embed circular economy principles across air, sea, and land logistics. A strong focus lies on global packaging governance, standards, and regulatory compliance, including evolving frameworks such as PPWR. Operating in a highly international environment, you will balance strategic direction with hands‐on execution while collaborating with diverse stakeholders across regions and business units. You will report directly to the Head of Trade, Transportation and Logistics.How you'll make an impactDefine and execute the global sustainability strategy for transport, logistics, and packaging, aligned with corporate ESG and net‐zero ambitionsLead CO2 emissions reporting for logistics activities in line with GHG Protocol standards and corporate targetsIdentify and implement measures to reduce emissions across transportation routes, fleet usage, warehousing, and packagingOwn global packaging standards and strategy, ensuring safety, quality, cost efficiency, material compliance, and circularityGovern packaging regulatory compliance globally, assessing impacts and mitigating risks in close collaboration with Legal and SCM functionsDrive packaging market intelligence, monitoring trends, regulations, and indexes to inform strategy and stakeholdersEngage and influence internal stakeholders across regions and functions to embed sustainability into daily operationsYour backgroundBachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Transportation/LogisticsMinimum 15 years of experience in Sustainability, SCM, or Transportation within complex, international environmentsProven track record in ESG reporting, environmental impact assessments, monitoring/testing, and regulatory implementationDemonstrated expertise in global regulatory frameworks related to sustainability and packaging, with a strong focus on governance, risk mitigation, and operational complianceExperience with SAP S/4HANA (e.G.
