RINA is currently recruiting for a Technology Innovation and Strategy Junior Consultant to join its office in Genoa within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
This role involves the inclusion of the resource within the Discipline "Technology Innovation, Strategy & Roadmapping" inside the Practice "Sustainability and Business Innovation", and will follow activities and projects managed by the team related to innovation and decarbonisation technologies.
Key Accountabilities
The resource will be able to explore the main services offered to clients, services related to strategic consultancy activities in different areas, including:
1. Scouting of technologies (e.g. increasing performance, decarbonization, energy efficiency, innovation in the sector,...),
2. Identification of strategic KPIs and metrics,
3. Perform technologies and suppliers benchmarks,
4. Definition of technology implementation roadmap,
5. Process and supply chain optimisation,
6. Analysis of the value chain and stakeholders involved.
Education
Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or Engineering General
Qualifications
- Previous internship or academic project experience in consulting, business analysis, process improvement, or related areas is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ability to interpret business data.
- Familiarity with process mapping techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) and documentation.
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their business applications.
- Awareness of sustainability concepts, carbon footprint assessment, and environmental impact analysis is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
