As the SSC payment intern, you will be part of the team supporting the management of payments and treasury activities for all European entities managed by the Shared Service Center, based in Cinisello.

Responsibilities

* Payment Cycle Support: Assist the team in preparing payment proposals and uploading payment files to banking portals, ensuring data accuracy under the supervision of senior specialists.
* Bank Reconciliation Support: Help perform daily matching of bank transactions with accounting entries in the ERP system and highlight any unmatched items for review.
* Team Collaboration (AP & MDM): Work with both the AP and Vendor Master Data teams to help verify vendor banking details and identify missing information needed for successful payments.
* Helpdesk & Query Handling: Monitor the team’s shared mailbox and assist in answering basic payment status inquiries from suppliers and internal colleagues.
* Administrative & Closing Support: Support the department with daily administrative tasks such as archiving bank statements and assist with basic reporting activities during month‑end close.
Requirements

* Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
* At least a High School Diploma in Administration, Finance and Marketing is required. A University Degree in Economics or Accounting is a plus.
* Knowledge of the Office package, in particular Excel.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Aptitude for working in a team.
