What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Health Club Front Desk Lead plays a key leadership role in ensuring exceptional service and efficient operations at the front desk of the health club. This position is responsible for leading front desk team members, maintaining a welcoming environment, managing daily operations, and assisting with member inquiries, check-ins, and appointments. The Lead serves as the first point of contact for members and guests and ensures a high standard of customer care is consistently delivered.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Lead and support front desk staff in daily operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
* Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
* Ensure exceptional guest service is provided at all times; resolve member concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Oversee scheduling, shift coverage, and timekeeping for the front desk team.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the front desk and lobby area.
* Handle cash handling, reconciliation, and point-of-sale transactions.
* Maintain accurate records of memberships, guest visits, and sales.
* Assist with membership enrollments, cancellations, freeze requests, and billing inquiries.
* Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance, fitness instructors) to ensure seamless operations.
* Monitor inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.
* Enforce club rules and regulations to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members and staff.
* Maintain confidentiality of all guest and member information.

* Someone with or the ability to obtain a CPR and First Aide certification preferred
