Overview
Join the Amcor team as a MDO Process Specialist in Venturina, Italy. Amcor transforms the packaging industry by delivering responsible solutions that benefit customers, people and the planet.
Principal Accountabilities
* Lead the start-up and industrialization of a brand-new MDO production line for CPP-films
* Work closely with production, QC and R&D to industrialize new products
* Ensure process stability, output, quality and efficiency
* Act as a problem solver, implementing best practices
* Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to team leaders and operators on the shopfloor
Qualifications / Requirements
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemistry or related technical field) or equivalent by experience
* 5+ years of proven experience on MDO lines or BOPP lines, ideally gained in the film industry
* Strong operational mindset: passionate about working hands‑on with the machines
* Solid knowledge of polypropylene polymers and PP‑film processes (extrusion, stretching, film properties)
* Experience in process troubleshooting and upscaling
* Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
* Strong team player and communicator, able to connect with R&D and production
