This position provides comprehensive knowledge in logistics to effectively support international export shipments. Core functions include, but are not limited to: International Logistics Management including implementing corporate strategies for application of transportation provider selection and performance management, export documentation and compliance and letters of credit. This role will work within a team environment and be responsible for coordinating the daily flow of export and import goods to and from Ingersoll Rand’s distribution and manufacturing locations. The role will assist with controlling transportation expenses through ensuring proper handling and routing of Ingersoll Rand products. Responsibilities include visibility reporting, freight invoice validation, loading planning, order/booking management and implementing value‑added export/import logistics initiatives. This position provides value to the organization by eliminating commercial risks to ensure revenue recognition occurs within a forecasted month while also meeting multiple deadlines and requirements of the customer, factory, and credit department. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure all sales orders are shipped with the appropriate mode of shipment and export documentation filed with forwarders, steamship lines and that the electronic export information is filed as required for export compliance.
