MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Creating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation
* Coordinating the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures in response to new laws and regulations
* Applying and interpreting audit and compliance requirements across departments
* Designing and coordinating the development and review of policies, procedures, training materials, and communication tools to ensure compliance
* Interacting with external auditors regarding internal controls audits
* Establishing compliance monitoring programs
* Filing regulatory reports and related documentation
* Coordinating the rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives
* Evaluating the effectiveness of controls
* Improving current strategies as needed
* Supervising and overseeing colleagues' work
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Compliance Officer within a professional service provider, accounting, or law firm (must-have)
* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
* Hands-on experience with reporting operations and procedures
* Ambition to succeed, motivated, committed, and proactive
* Professional discipline
* Strong team-working skills with a value-added approach
* Proficiency in MS Office and IT skills
* Good organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to multi-task effectively
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Critical thinker and problem-solver
* Fluent in Greek and English
