We are urgently seeking an Offshore Surveyor, responsible for offshore survey and positioning operations, including data acquisition and quality control onboard survey vessels.
Main Responsibilities: Setup, testing, and calibration of navigation and survey equipmentCollection, organization, and presentation of data from survey sensorsOperation of survey software and data quality monitoringPreparation of mobilization and calibration reportsCommunication with the offshore team and maintenance of onboard logsContinuous development of survey and data processing skillsMonitoring of offshore installations (cables, platforms, wind farms, etc.
)Technical diploma (e.g., Nautical Institute or Surveying) or related degree
2-3 years of experience in a similar roleSolid knowledge of Geodesy, Cartography, and NavigationProficiency in MS Office SuiteGood command of English (spoken, written, reading, listening)Knowledge of Windows operating systemsProactive attitude, team player, and problem-solving mindsetWillingness to work offshore for extended periodsStrong organizational and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD MapExperience in land surveying with total stationsUnderstanding of real-time positioning principles and data acquisitionExperience with MBES and acoustic positioning systemsContract type and salary level will be discussed during the interview.
