Product Technical Performance Manager Premium Chocolate
About the Role:
We are happy to share that we are looking for a talented candidate to join our Technical R&D Premium Chocolate Department as aProduct Technical Performance Manager. In this role you will work onproduct development and implementation of new productsas well as defining industrial processes for Premium Chocolate products across the world. You will work in a highly dynamic and international environment within Ferrero, contributing to the excellence and innovation of our products.
Main Responsibilities:
You will plan, organize and perform the necessary trials and experiments todeliver product and process development projectsthat meet defined requirements.
You willcreate and take ownership of the industrial recipesfor the products under your responsibility.
You will provide support on project implementation from concept, industrialisation to product launch.
You willleverage product and process expertise on productsthat could be made with wafer, creams and different ingredients via lab trials, scale-up trials, factory and supplier's trials and taste trials.
Additionally, you will have the responsability to identify new ingredients suitable for the products and develop new recipes according to group guidelines, ensuring optimum sensorial characteristics of new products throughout shelf-life.
You will define key technological parameters to produce new products, continuously improving existing manufacturing processes through LEAN & AGILE methods.
You will lead innovation in formulation, technolody and process control, as well as drive cost-optimization initiatives.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to work in strict cooperation with the laboratories and project managers and you will be the point of reference for Marketing, Engineering, Plants technologists, Quality, R&D Raw material and Packaging Department.
About You:
You will bring yourMaster's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalentandexperience in food companies, ideally in R&D, quality or technical positions. Experience in chocolate moulding, fats and fillings processing and cereal and wafer baking would be considered a plus.
You have knowledge of Chemical, Microbiologist, Sensory and Nutritional Analysis, as well as knowledge of statistics and data analysis of industrial processes.
You areavailable for frequent travel in Italy and abroad, you arefluent in Englishand comfortable using digital tools.
Your passion for our products, consumers and category and your strong result-oriented attitude, problem-solving skills and attention to details will be key to perform at best.
