IOS System Expert / Senior Software Developer

Work model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
Contract: Permanent - Fulltime
We are looking for a true iOS expert — someone deeply technical, highly curious, and comfortable working independently — to design and build iOS solutions that integrate directly with our core systems.
This is not a feature‐factory role. It's a hands‐on, problem‐solving position for an engineer who enjoys ownership, experimentation, and building robust solutions from the ground up.
You will report directly to the Unit Manager for R&D and Innovation and play a key role in shaping how iOS technology integrates into the wider platform.
What you'll be doing
* Take full ownership of iOS system design and development
* Build and maintain custom iOS solutions integrated with backend systems
* Work closely with R&D and innovation teams on new concepts and prototypes
* Design for performance, reliability, and scalability
* Operate as a stand‐alone technical expert, with autonomy and trust
* Expert‐level iOS development (Swift, iOS xivgfpx SDK, Apple frameworks)
* Strong understanding of system‐level architecture and integration
* Solid backend or systems exposure using Python, Java, and/or C++
* Experience working with Docker and modern development environments
* Italian nationality or fluent Italian speaker (required)
* Willing and able to work from HQ in Varese as part of a hybrid setup
