Job Summary:

The Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the API Manufacturing Plants. This role, reporting to the Head of Group Operational Excellence and partnering with the Head of the Chemical Division, aims to improve process efficiencies, reduce costs, enhance product quality, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the development and execute strategic plans to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the plant. Align operational excellence initiatives with the plant's overall strategic goals.

* Identify and implement process improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
">
* Analyze operational processes to identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
">
* Ensure all operational excellence initiatives comply with regulatory standards and quality requirements. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to integrate quality improvements into process enhancements.
">
* Lead, train, and mentor staff on operational excellence principles and techniques. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organization.
">
* Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of operational excellence initiatives. Report on progress to senior management and adjust strategies as necessary.

* Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

* Lead change management initiatives, ensuring that changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.

Required Qualifications:
">

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
">
* Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
">
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical or API manufacturing industry.
">
* Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
">
* Proven track record of implementing successful process improvement projects.
">
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

The position may require occasional travel to other facilities or training locations. Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours as needed to support plant operations.
