About us: Purpose of the job: In the role of Logistic Operations Specialist, you are responsible for managing current operations (logistics processes from inbound to warehouse to outbound), develop, suggest and implement efficiency improvements. - Monitor processes and cost efficiency - Inbound: management of containers & truck planning of GR (good receipt) plan, defining unloading slot with shipping lines & carriers - Outbound: run TMS cut-off, check TMS delivery orders versus warehouse capacity to release shipments accordingly - Provide operations status visibility to customers - Assist, support and execute the creation of project plans for new operations and/or implementation of new product groups/services in order to ensure that projects targets are met - Support new customer implementation projects during preparation and stabilization phase. - Process Improvement:_ - Analyze current operations and customer attitude in order to determine improvement possibilities - Being active in implementing new processes as well as improvements actions for current ones - Translate business needs and IT system requirements into operational processes Reporting: - Monitoring operational KPI - Dashboard of aging containers - Warehouse storage capacity - Forecast arrival plan - Irregular report: missing/wrong/damages/etc. goods - Delivery Portfolio report Profile: He/she is a flexible and accurate quick problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality, able to work in teams. We are looking for an employee with: - A Bachelor degree in Engineering/Logistic or equivalent work experience - 1 - 2 years working experience in similar role. - Proven knowledge on transportation, warehousing and supply chain management - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams. - Positive thinker with a “can do, will do” spirit and a change agent mentality. - Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast-paced dynamic environment. - A proficient level of English and Italian - Excellent MS Office skills Benefits: Permanent Contract, competitive salary, 40 hours per week.
