The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating our production operations. This role is critical to ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively to meet customer demands. /ppYour ability to build a constructive relationship with several supplying parties and communicate in an effective way will be key to thrive in the role. /ppstrongYou Will Make an Impact By: /strong /polliEstablishing daily work priorities/schedules within the department to expedite production. Modifying priorities/schedules according to work order specifications, availability of labor, materials, parts, machines, and equipment. /liliWorking with Coordinators, Operations Supervisors, and other Planners to execute these schedules. /liliEnsuring all orders are shipped on schedule and as economically as possible. Providing input to management to reschedule shipments in cases of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and customer readiness issues. Monitoring forward load reports and schedules to recommend overtime and staffing levels for work centers. /liliReleasing orders to various operational groups and/or vendors to maintain production flow to meet customer request dates. /liliWorking with vendors to ensure the best possible delivery dates and shipment routes are secured. /liliReviewing stock records and material requirements to determine if on-hand materials are sufficient to complete production orders on schedule. Resolves problems with inventory or material shortages through review of SAP system and transaction documentation. /liliTaking action in SAP as a result of Engineering Change Notices, scrap, etc., and adjusts pending work orders and inventory accordingly. /li /olpstrongRequired Qualifications for Consideration: /strong /polliBachelor's degree in business with 2-5 years' experience in a similar role and manufacturing environment. /liliValidated ability to drive successful inventory/working capital strategies, lead time responsiveness and customer service levels. /liliOrganizational capability to sustain results through SAP systems. /liliSolid understanding of Supply Chain and order processing. /liliExperience with SAP and reporting tools. /liliRelevant production or materials planning experience. /li /olpstrongemWhy ANDREW? /em /strong /ppExplore exciting career opportunities at ANDREW, part of the Amphenol family.
