SAP Manufacturing Systems Analyst (Plant Operations)
* Serve as the primary on‑site IT and SAP support contact for plant operations, ensuring uninterrupted production and material flow.
* Provide first‑ and second‑level support for applications used in manufacturing (PP, MM, WM, QM, SD as applicable).
* Support issues related to day‑to‑day production and logistics transactions, including production orders, confirmations, goods movements, inventory adjustments, scrap, and cycle counts.
* Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues impacting shop‑floor operations, distinguishing between user/process, master data, and system defects.
* Support shop‑floor IT systems integrated with SAP, including scanners, label printers, terminals, and real‑time production data capture.
* Log, track, and manage incidents through the IT service management tool and ensure proper escalation to SAP COE, AMS, Basis, or Infrastructure teams when required.
* Participate in major‑incident and root‑cause analysis discussions, providing plant‑level context and validating fixes.
* Assist with SAP deployments, migrations, cutover, go‑lives, and hyper‑care, including testing, data validation, and user support.
* Support end‑user computing and local IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, scanners, and connectivity issues, coordinating with central IT teams.
* Provide hands‑on user assistance and basic training for SAP and plant IT tools, reinforcing standard processes and global templates.
* Act as the local IT liaison between plant operations and corporate IT, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
* Identify opportunities to improve system stability, user adoption, and operational efficiency at the plant level.
Experience
* 3+ years of experience in manufacturing IT or SAP application support.
* Hands‑on experience supporting SAP in a plant or shop‑floor environment.
* Experience supporting manufacturing operations, materials management, or production planning.
Technical & Functional Skills
* Working knowledge of SAP PP and MM (IM and QM exposure preferred).
* Understanding of manufacturing business processes.
* Familiarity with shop‑floor IT systems.
* Experience with RF devices, scanners, barcode systems, and label printing.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage plant operators, supervisors, and leadership.
* Ability to work effectively under production‑critical and time‑sensitive conditions.
* Strong ownership mindset with a focus on rapid resolution and business continuity.
* Willingness to provide on‑site and off‑hours support during critical plant events (as required).
* On‑site presence at a manufacturing plant.
* On‑call or extended hours support during critical production or deployment windows.
