Job Requirements At Quest Global, it's not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different.With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible.Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place—to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future.We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster.Role OverviewThe Mechanical 3D/2D Designer will support engineering activities related to the design and detailing of mechanical components, assemblies, and supporting structures for steel plant equipment.The role involves creating and managing 3D models and 2D technical drawings in compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and manufacturing requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop 3D models and assemblies of mechanical components and equipment for steel production plants.Produce 2D technical drawings, including manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and installation layouts.Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and internal guidelines.Collaborate with mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and project teams to implement design solutions.Support design reviews and technical coordination meetings.Perform modifications and updates to models and drawings based on engineering changes.Ensure proper documentation management within the company PLM/PDM systems.Provide support to manufacturing and installation teams when clarification of drawings is required.Nice to haveExperience in steel plant equipment or heavy industrial plants.Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems.Understanding of GD&T; and mechanical tolerancing.Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international project teams.We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible
