## Duties
\n
Prepare a variety of hot beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffee, lattes, espresso, hot chocolate, etc., by selecting proper ingredients. Serves cold beverages and food items, such as sodas, juice cookies, muffins, pastries, etc.
\n
Receives payment, operates cash register, makes and returns change to patrons. May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability.
\n
Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner. Sets up/cleans tables for customers and replenishes condiment items as necessary. Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning. Scrapes, soaks, scours glassware, dishes, and utensils as required.
\n
Also performs heavy duty cleaning tasks as required such as; coffee machines, ceilings, under and behind equipment, refrigerators, washes floors and walls, sanitizes garbage cans. May unload stock from delivery trucks. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area.
\n
Assists with inventories, identifies items for re-ordering. May be required to open and close the facility.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Italian citizens may not apply for US NAF positions; however, may be eligible for local national positions on base. Must be able to provide documentation proving residence status overseas. Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country.\n
The 31ST Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support. Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB.

- *Qualifying Experience:**
\nMust be able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning, and operate simple machines.\n
Must be skilled in completing tasks with several steps and must use judgment in sequencing tasks.

Must be able to follow cash handling procedures.
\n
Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food and beverages, and for cleaning equipment and work area.
