Overview

Manager / Team Leader – Marketplace & B2B

We are looking for an operationally strong and strategically minded Marketplace & B2B Manager with 5-7 years of experience, including at least 2 years in marketplace leadership. The role, in collaboration with Regional Commercial Directors and local markets, will own the global management of marketplace channels while enabling local teams and commercial strategies. It will drive the integration and expansion of marketplace platforms and social commerce operations, collaborating cross-functionally to accelerate business growth through media-driven commerce opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Marketplace Strategy & Leadership – Lead and manage global marketplace operations (Amazon, eBay, Rithum, Veepee, etc.) and support local teams in executing independently with local players; identify, test, and integrate new platforms across B2B and B2C; monitor performance and define a roadmap for international marketplace expansion and innovation; cultivate strategic relationships with platform partners (Director to C-level).
* Social Commerce Execution – Work with HQ to unlock media-driven marketplaces (e.g., TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping); define execution frameworks for social commerce from campaign integration to fulfillment alignment.
* Technical & Operational Integration – Maintain a pipeline of priority marketplaces for full central integration; collaborate with eServices/IT to ensure smooth product feeds, APIs, and data sharing; ensure tax, credit, and compliance processes with Finance and Legal; optimize marketplace-specific customer service and logistics & fulfillment operations.
* Business Development & Data-Driven Decision Making – Act as business developer and analyst: monitor KPIs, identify growth levers, and propose actionable improvements; deliver insights from marketplace trends to Retail Account Managers and product development; develop KPIs and dashboards (sales, conversion, AOV, returns, reviews); generate regular reports and run Business Review Meetings with key stakeholders.
* Negotiation & Contract Management – Lead negotiations with marketplaces for favorable terms, advertising packages, and visibility; ensure compliance with contractual terms and platform policies across all channels.

Profile & Qualifications

* 5-7 years of experience in eCommerce or digital roles, with a minimum of 2 years directly managing marketplaces.
* Strong technical and operational know-how of marketplace platforms and integrations.
* Strategic thinker and hands-on executor, able to work in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to navigate complex internal and external stakeholder dynamics.
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead transversal projects with global and local teams.
* Strong analytical mindset; capable of turning data into actionable insight.
