PpReq ID: /p h3Purpose of the Job /h3 pThe main purpose of the role is to provide technical support to maintenance activities (on site or by remote) on Railway Signalling Systems operated by the Alstom domestic and international Customers. The role includes the responsibility to be the technical Customer interface in global service maintenance contracts and to manage warranty obligations on the projects in the scope of Alstom Bologna being the Warranty work package owner in charge of QCD (quality, cost and delivery) KPI. /p h3Position in the Organization /h3 pThe position will be part of Services Signalling Business Unit Organization - Maintenance and Technical Assistance team. /p h3Network Links /h3 pInternal relationships with other Alstom functions: System and Product, Application Engineering, Industrialization, Supply chain departments, Installation. /p pExternal relationships with Customer infrastructure operators and maintenance technicians. /p h3Responsibilities And Accountabilities /h3 ul lisystem performance monitoring /li liexecution and supervision of HW and SW system upgrade /li litechnical expertise with product engineering in case of unknown bug or unknown behaviour /li liproviding Customer feedback in order to improve products and meet Customer's needs /li liproviding training to Customer maintenance staff /li lidefinition and implementation of Maintenance and technical assistance plans /li licoordination and support to maintenance technicians on field /li liproviding support to Service organization in the definition of maintenance strategy in tenders and offers /li licooperation with product engineering in the definition of maintainability requirements during the product’s design phase /li /ul pThe position also includes the availability to perform activities outside of the Bologna Alstom site and to be part of the team that supports by remote H24 the customer maintenance team. /p h3Educational Requirements /h3 pDegree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Degree in Mathematics/Physics will also be considered. /p h3Technical competencies /h3 ul liKnowledge of electronic design principle and methodology /li liBasic knowledge of the most common operating systems /li liBasic knowledge of the most common net protocols (TCP/IP, …) /li liCapability to interpret electric drawings and schemes /li liCapability to use test tools (oscilloscope, wave generator, multimeter, etc…) will be a plus /li liKnowledge of railways signalling systems and principles will be a plus /li /ul h3Behavioural competencies /h3 ul liCapability to perform analysis and to relate information from different contexts /li liCapability to work in team and attitude to problem solvingCapability to work in stress and urgency conditions /li /ul h3Experience /h3 pAt least two years of experience on Electronic/Electromechanical company as on site or remote technical assistance is desirable.
