Position: The role will be office based at our sales office in Turin, Italy and will involve some travel to visit clients and other Clarendon business units. Responsibilities & Duties: - To be proactive in business development, customer visits & support technical issues whilst managing priorities in the business and liaising with the team daily. - Oversee and support all aspects of business development in Europe and ensure regular contact is made to the customer base, both desk based and or external. - Devise visit strategy for strategic accounts incorporating support from internal sales coordinators to ensure customer relations and service is at the forefront of our goals. - To support internally & externally with technical issues, quotes and general queries. - Monitor market/territory performance in terms of orders and sales. - During customer meetings discuss service, products, new product promotion, design-in activity, competition, opportunities for growth etc with all relevant functions and decision makers within the customer account and influence them to purchase &/or specify Clarendon product. - Submit weekly Sales Visit Reports (SVR’s) through CRM system accurately and assigning actions to those individuals / departments specific to each task. - Manage account database via Sales Notes and ensure contacts, market, projects and competition sections are up to date. - Follow up on quotations for customer accounts and liaise with the Sales Office. - Provide input as required to complete divisional fiscal year sales forecasts and re-forecasts. - Attend and fully contribute to regular Sales Meetings. - Attend relevant exhibitions. - Add value as a team member in product innovation and development initiatives. - Coordinate product demonstrations and customer presentations. - Report on market news relevant to our business.
