Job Description
Trevi SpA is hiring for construction sites in Italy.
Welders
* Ensure the restoration of damaged or worn metal components through welding. Manufacture new metal parts by interpreting detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with required safety and quality standards.
* Prepare surfaces to be welded.
* Select the most suitable welding method and tools based on materials, part dimensions, and the purpose of the work.
* Maintain work tools and equipment in optimal condition.
* Propose potential improvements or modifications to enhance the functionality, strength, and safety of the finished product.
* Check welds for defects or imperfections.
* Verify, using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments, that the welding meets the parameters specified in the project, and perform quality checks.
* Report any issues or anomalies encountered to the direct supervisor.
* Support the manager in departmental activities.
* Knowledge of mechanical stresses and material strength.
* Ability to assess weld quality (finishing, integrity, burrs, etc.).
* Competence in selecting appropriate welding tools, materials, and techniques.
* Ability to record technical data related to completed work processes.
* Knowledge, compliance with, and application of specific safety regulations (PPE, etc.).
* Knowledge of and adherence to QC procedures and technical requirements (technical drawings, material standards, etc.).
* Ability to evaluate the proper functioning of safety devices on the tools used (visual, mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, etc.).
