Sales Director Role
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for building and structuring a sales network in key European markets, with a particular focus on the retail and contract sectors. This is a critical role for driving growth and requires a mix of strategic thinking and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy aligned with the brand's positioning
* Identify and establish relationships with retailers, architects, showrooms, and contract clients
* Create and manage a distribution network across key European markets
* Collaborate with or hire local sales agents or freelancers, depending on market needs
* Monitor KPIs and support the achievement of revenue and expansion targets
* Represent the brand at trade fairs, industry events, and client meetings
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in sales for design, fashion, or luxury brands
* Strong knowledge of retail and contract dynamics
* Fluent in English; Italian and European languages are a plus
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Willingness to work from the Milan office at least during the initial phase
* Active portfolio of industry contacts (architects, interior designers, buyers and wholesalers)
