What You Will Do
* Oversees the Security contractor by interacting exclusively with the external company’s representative, avoiding any risk of unlawful interposition and ensuring a positive and constructive relationship.
* Supervise and coordinate all daily security tasks, related to guests complains, safety, loss prevention and internal operations.
* Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity procedures.
* Ensure compliance with local security laws, fire safety codes, and regulatory standards.
* Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and relevant external partners.
* Monitor risk management programs, conduct security inspections, and review incident reports to identify areas for improvement.
* Support hotel-wide awareness initiatives, and onboarding programs.
* Organize and facilitate local mandatory safety/security training.
* Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.
* Assist leadership in fostering a culture of safety and service excellence within the security team.
What You Bring
* Degree or diploma in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
* Knowledge of national security regulations, fire safety codes, and emergency procedures.
* Training and qualification that certifies the role of safety trainer, in accordance with Italian regulations.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel or resort security, including supervisory responsibility.
* Experience in luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environments, with a strong understanding of guest expectations for discretion and comfort.
* Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to perform well under pressure.
* High integrity, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
* Proficiency with MS Office, access control systems and incident management tools.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Fluency in English and Italian and legal permission to work in Italy.

Schedule & Location
Full-time position based at Hotel Danieli, Venice.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
