We are currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our international HR Department, and provide a local support to our Milan office.
Main responsibilities would include:
Maintain compliance with the regulations concerning all aspects of employment (vacation, overtime pay, employee benefit eligibility, health & safety due process, payroll processed, etc.) in the assigned locations/countries/regions
Assist with the localization and implementation of personnel policies and procedures in the assigned locations/countries/regions
Lead HR Audits and Labor Inspections, as required
Handle disciplinary processes and terminations
Assist employees in answering any pertinent questions regarding policies and procedures
Assure compliance with country regulations concerning all aspects of employment (vacation, overtime pay, employee benefit eligibility, health & safety due process, payroll processed, etc.)
Research, recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and the services performed.
Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring procedures are properly followed and paperwork completed and filed, keeping the lines of communication open between managers and their employees.
Propose and implement different benefit plans in compliance with local regulations and Company procedures and policies
Lead change management initiatives, following acquisitions or mergers
Lead on the development of policies and procedures for new incorporated offices
Assist with Training initiatives for employees and managers
Participate in other, ad-hoc HR related projects.
Required knowledge and skills:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or related field
Previous experience as an HR Specialist/Generalist or HR Business Partner
Knowledge and understanding of Italian employment law
Fluency in Italian and English
Decision making / complex problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Impeccable organization skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations
Positive attitude, resiliency, and the ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace
