PpScope Ratings GmbH is looking for a Risk Manager in a dynamic credit rating agency. As a Risk Manager, you will be part of our EU-based Internal Control functions, based in Milan. You will support the senior managers of the credit rating agency and will work with functional teams at Scope. The Risk Manager is responsible for management of Scope Ratings GmbH non-financial risk management in a 3LoD model. /ph3Duties responsibilities /h3ulliIdentify, assess, and propose appropriate mitigation/remediation for existing and future risks at Scope Ratings GmbH and its outsourced activities within Scope Group or third-party service providers /liliDesign and track relevant risk KPIs/KRIs with stakeholders and report on performance /liliEmbed a company appropriate risk management framework at Scope Ratings GmbH, outsourced activities or third-party service providers, encompassing risk appetite and risk tolerance thresholds, risk inventory, risk landscape and action plan, incident management amongst others /liliDevelop and maintain risk policies, procedures and control frameworks /liliMaintain and moderate the Scope Ratings GmbH Risk Control Committee /liliGuide senior management and train stakeholders on risk management through effective collaboration, reports and presentations /liliWork with all stakeholders across Scope Ratings GmbH and outsourced service providers to embed a strong risk management culture /liliEnsure alignment with regulatory requirements /liliPrepare and present risk reports to Scope Ratings GmbH boards and relevant further bodies at group level /liliAt least 5 years of experience in the financial industry /liliBachelor's or master's degree in business administration or in a relevant field of business sciences and/or related work experience /liliExperience in a regulatory environment is considered a plus /liliBackground as Consultant (Strategic or “Big Four”) is considered a plus /liliStrong organizational, as well as very good analytical skills /liliUnderstanding of diverse business processes and strategy developments /liliProven success in the efficient management of projects and processes /liliExcellent writing skills and ability to process complex information and restitute it in a clear / well-structured manner /liliWillingness to engage with highly specialized texts (economics, financial analysis) /liliProactive about learning new skills and improving existing processes /liliStrong team player with high interpersonal and communication skills /liliLeading to results and focus on solutions /liliMulti-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, integrity, detail and target-oriented personality /liliFluency in at least one major European language (German and/or French preferred) in addition to English /li /ulh3Interested? /h3pIf this sounds like a journey for you, we look forward to learning more from your convincing application.
