Insurance and Asset Management – Engagement Manager & Principal (m/f/d) – Italy
Responsibilities
Associate level: Break down complex problems into discrete tasks, identify key aspects, direct focus of junior consultants, plan and execute analysis, identify core issues, craft recommendations, work with clients and project team members, manage small teams to deliver projects.
Principal level: Provide day‑to‑day leadership of complex client projects, manage client relationships and commercial processes, ensure on‑time delivery, become trusted advisors to senior clients, guide and influence client thinking.
Requirements
* 6-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top‑tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization)
* In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector
* Strong analytical and synthesis skills and ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
* Fluency in English and Italian is required
* An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
* Willingness to travel
* Initiative: seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and applying them
* Creativity: ability to generate novel ideas to solve clients’ biggest problems
* Aptitude for analytical work, searching for clues in large data sets and identifying key issues in complex challenges
* Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with an exceptionally talented team
