Leveraged Finance Solutions Italy (LevFin) originates and executes debt transactions supporting leverage buy outs financings (LBO) of PE funds and industrial players investing in Italy and Italian corporates. LevFin is also responsible for all clients lending-related needs coordinating with the coverage team, incl. delivery of other UniCredit products such as capital markets, loan agency, hedging and corporate banking. LevFin is a leading European financing house, with a focus on its core markets represented by Italy, Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. UniCredit has consistently been the leading bank in both Italian LBO market and syndicate loans, having played a tier one role in the most visible deals closed in the recent years.
What you'll be doing
* Support credit analysis exercise of analysts and associates aimed at preparing and presenting internal memos and credit papers for credit committees discussions.
* Prepare detailed financial models in Excel to illustrate management, base and downside cases and develop appropriate debt structures.
* Assist in the preparation of pitches for client meetings.
* Provide as necessary research on market sectors and LBO / acquisition targets.
* Provide as necessary financial and commercial analysis of targets for internal credit process.
* Prepare ratings and pricing sheets for new and existing deals.
* Assist in preparing and presenting Information Memorandums for transactions structured and syndicated by UniCredit.
* Compile analysis of due diligence reports provided by external advisors.
* Complete presentations / projects for the Leveraged Finance group as assigned.
* Support on special projects liaising directly with senior team members.
What you'll need to succeed
* Financial analysis
* Broad general knowledge of global economics
* Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
* Ability to logically analyse large amounts of information; capability to prioritise and to multi-task; ability to co-operate in international teams, pro-active thinking and initiative taking.
* Strong communication and command of English
* Strong interpersonal skills
