Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large corporate clients.
Based in Rome or Milan, in the Construction & Bonds department of GC&CI - Underwriting, you will deal with “surety bond policies” underwriting activities. You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the targets.
underwriting “surety bond policies” and assessing and fixing “credit lines”, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholders in the insurance and reinsurance market
running portfolio management activities to achieve targets in harmony with the Bonds governance framework (underwriting authorities and guidelines)
Requirements
University degree in Economics or Law
at least seven years of relevant experience in the role of Bonds Underwriter
strong financial xjrgpwk and analytical skills
good communication skills, ability to work in an international context, and fluency in English and Italian
flexibility to work both in a team and independently, and an aptitude for commercial negotiation
good command of major IT packages and experience in the use of underwriting tools
