DXC Technology Italia is looking for a Software Developer to join the Applications Service DXC Team. Application Services cover four areas: Applications Development ; Applications Modernization and Transformation ; Testing and Digital Assurance ; Applications Management. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute business and technical software solutions to implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions) applications. Understand and use appropriate solutions/tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. Interact with client‐facing colleagues (Business Analyst and Project Manager) to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies. Requirements Bachelor or Master Degree (nice to have technical field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.). Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, cloud‐based applications, and microservices architecture and patterns. Strong technical experience writing code using languages: Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot, ...), Single Page Application frameworks, microservices, Docker, design pattern and architecture design, and database SQL and NoSQL. Software development processes (Agile, Waterfall), DevOps. Ability to work with web‐development tools for new applications. Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies. The ideal profile has strong analytics skills, problem solving, focus on results, decision‐making skills, and the ability to work in teams. Location: Naples (NA) with smart working possibility.
