M&A Associate at BPER Banca Corporate & Investment Banking (Milan office)

Key responsibilities
We are seeking an M&A Associate to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Senior team, this individual will play a pivotal role in leading the execution of complex transactions and support in the origination of new deals. Responsibilities will centre on:
* Conduct market research
* Production of marketing presentation, Information Memorandum and other transaction documents
* Prepare and edit presentations to support critical decision making by senior management
* Support to senior professionals in all the phases of deal execution
* Support to senior professionals with the development of client relationships and new business generation
* Proactive in proposing to senior professionals strategic ideas for clients
* Mentor and support junior team members
Required skills/experience
* Strong academic background
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Corporate Finance transactions
* Master’s degree with excellent academic records
* Fluency in English
* Full-time availability
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, Merger, LBO, etc), with deep expertise in interpreting and analyzing financial statements
* Learning agility, outstanding teamwork and communication skills, analytical mindset
