About The Role
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic candidates for our Sales and Marketing Officer positions. They will be responsible for the business development, sales growth, and brand building of RGIT’s educational offerings. The role’s core functions include managing relationships with agents, researching and developing business development opportunities, and driving sales growth through marketing strategies. This role focuses on promoting and increasing student numbers for RGIT’s VET and ELICOS courses.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Manage inbound and outbound phone and web-based enquiries
2. Prioritize and escalate lead and customer questions as needed
3. Work on key sales campaigns to drive new enrolments
4. Track all appointments, sales, and report statuses thoroughly
5. Maintain positive business and customer relationships to extend customer lifetime value
6. Provide student entry requirements advice and assist in assessments
7. Maintain accurate data in CRM and SMS systems
8. Drive recruitment, admission, and support for students
9. Work towards meeting sales targets and budgets
10. Perform research activities and report accordingly for operational success
Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a marketing-related field
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in an educational setting
3. Understanding of admissions issues, market trends, and recruitment guidelines for tertiary education
4. Knowledge of international student recruitment markets is preferred
5. Ability to communicate effectively in the target market’s language
6. Fluent written and verbal communication skills
7. Experience with CRM and SMS platforms is preferred
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
10. Strong digital and social media marketing skills
11. Experience in implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
To succeed in this role, you should be highly motivated, engaging, and possess excellent presentation skills. A proven track record of working in a positive environment with strong communication skills is essential.
