This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of a dynamic academic and pastoral environment, supporting students growth and success in History, Geography, and related disciplines.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of raising attainment and delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, global awareness, and curiosity.
You will also play a key role in shaping the Humanities curriculum and fostering enthusiasm for the subject across the school.
Key Responsibilities Teach Humanities subjects to students across secondary levels.
Develop and deliver engaging and innovative lessons.
Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment design.
Support extracurricular activities and encourage wider student participation.
Contribute to the pastoral life of the boarding school, including occasional out-of-hours support.
Essential Requirements Qualified teacher with at least two years experience.
Proven track record of raising standards in the classroom.
Strong subject knowledge of British Key Stage 3/GCSE and/or A Levels/IB Diploma.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
Commitment to student welfare and holistic development.
Desirable Willingness to take on specific boarding duties (allowances available).
Ability to teach an additional subject.
Coaching or outdoor pursuits qualifications/interests.
