As a Critical Operations Engineer, you ensure reliability and asset performance across STACK EMEA Data Centers. You will develop and maintain robust operating procedures, oversee safe change execution, and document maintenance activities. You’ll provide technical oversight of vendors, support incident diagnosis and recovery planning, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned. This role places you at the heart of a fast-growing, tech-driven environment focused on high-availability data center operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold governance and quality at scale.

- Create, review, and improve SMPs, SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs with risk controls and evidence requirements
- Maintain document control and ensure high standards of procedure quality
- Lead or support pre-job briefings and method reviews, confirming prerequisites and rollback plans
- Support preventive maintenance planning and optimisation to improve task quality and reduce defects
- Identify critical spares, spares strategies, and vendor repair workflows for key assets
- Maintain technical records for KPIs, audits, and customer assurance
- Provide technical oversight of vendors and contractors, validating methods, test results, and close-out documentation
- Support diagnosis of complex technical issues and develop recovery/restoration plans
- Coach technicians and operations teams, contributing to training and scenario drills
Responsabilità
- Experience in facilities, operations, or engineering in mission-critical environments (Data Center or hyperscale experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems: UPS, generators, LV distribution, transformers, cooling, controls/monitoring, fire/life safety interfaces
- Understanding of safe systems of work, risk controls, and disciplined change in live environments
- Experience with BMS/SCADA platforms; EPMS/DCIM knowledge desirable
- Ability to read and explain electrical single-line diagrams and system schematics
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and stakeholder management
