We are now seeking a Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer to lead and oversee the quality processes of all business activities in our Transmission Division. You will drive continuous improvement of the QMS and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting our strong commitment to quality. You’ll be joining our rapidly growing Transmission Division, which is transforming the cable industry with innovative solutions for eco‑conscious energy systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact on a sustainable future while working alongside experienced colleagues in a very international setting.
You will report to the Continuous Improvement & Management System Manager and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including all functions located at headquarters and manufacturing plants, mostly in Europe. This is a permanent, full‑time position based in our headquarters in Milan. The role includes traveling about 20‑30 % of the time.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
* Monitor compliance and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
* Develop and update QMS documentation, procedures, and policies.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all business processes.
* Support risk management and corrective/preventive action processes.
* Provide training and guidance on QMS principles to internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement best practices.
* Prepare and present QMS performance reports to management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
* Either a junior interested in becoming a QM expert, or you already have proven experience in QMS implementation and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and auditing practices.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and QMS‑related tools.
* Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
* Familiarity with additional standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is advantageous.
