Plant Layout Engineer – Renewable Gas
The ideal candidate has a relevant experience in layout engineering and he/she is able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and structured engineering teams.
The candidate will join the Tendering team and will be responsible for developing the conceptual layout for the entire plant during the proposal phase of large Renewable Gas Anaerobic Digestion EPC projects globally.
Main responsibilities:
* Builds the 3D model and collaborate in the preparation of overall plant concepts (process integration, maintenance, traffic management, escape routes, etc.);
* Optimizes the arrangement to ensure a cost competitive offering and coordinating interfaces with the various disciplines (process engineering, electrical & control, civil foundations & steel structures, construction, procurement, logistics, etc;
* Reviews contract specifications, identifies project risks and opportunities, participates to layout reviews, technical clarifications and negotiations with customers and partners;
* Prepares planning documents, layout drawings and provides civil and construction data
* Handover to project execution team;
* Actively participates in maintaining tendering know-how, tools, guidelines, and seeks to implement lessons learned from executed projects.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience as layout engineer in an international EPC environment (energy, renewables, Oil & Gas);
* Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge in process equipment layout, piping layout, steel structure and civil design, and good understanding of technical cost drivers;
* User know-how of engineering tools such as E3D, Navisworks and Autocad;
* Deep understanding of 2D and 3D CAD modeling and awareness of BIM methodology;
* Autonomous, proactive, curious, flexible and team-oriented personality;
* Fluent in English, any other language(s) welcomed.
