Responsibilities
Define software specification: SW functional / interface / performance requirements derived from the system specification and customer requirements. Allocate requirements for the main subsystems (e.g. DH / Thermal / TTC / Power / etc.). Define the software architecture. Define the software development plan covering all SW lifecycle phases, according to the defined SW category. Support the selection process for SW contractors. Prepare the overall SW technical baseline for the SW developers. Follow‑on of the SW developer contractors. Support the definition of the FDIR architecture and related SW requirements, taking into account the foreseen PUS services. Analyze outcomes of SW unit tests. Support SW‑SW, HW‑SW integration and SW validation on the SW test benches and avionic test bench (SVF+STB / ATB). Prepare technical documentation (e.g. SW ICD, SW user manual, SW budgets). Define SW requirements, design solutions and coding rules for cybersecurity aspects. Follow‑on of cybersecurity activities related to the SW.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace or Electronics engineering. Experience with RTOS and programming languages (including assembly). Good knowledge of communication protocols (serial lines, buses, networks). Problem‑solving attitude. Good management skills (schedule, costs, supplier selection and follow‑on, etc.). Team‑working and good communication skills. Good / Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
