You will join our Environment & Health department and Impact Assessment Spearhead: As our new IA Junior Consultant, you will be part of a group of like-minded individuals who are passionate about permitting, international and national environmental regulation and standards, and about assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. The Impact Assessment Spearhead is an international team spanning Europe, the East-Med area and APAC, with clients across various industries (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Steel etc.) on a range of topics such as project finance, environmental permitting, human health risk assessment, climate change, labour/working conditions, human rights, biodiversity and compliance. As part of this role’s key responsibilities, you will: - Support the Italian and wider global team by carrying out technical tasks as required - Be an active part of our audit team in Italy and abroad - Review and interpret EU and Italian environmental regulations - Support with the preparation of reports in Italian and English - Meet project deadlines as indicated by the Project Manager Your starting point for constant growth: From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: - Master of Science (_Laurea quinquennale_) or PhD in Environmental Engineering or other relevant field - Measurable work experience either in industry or consultancy - Experience in report-writing in both Italian and English - Good analytical skills - Previous travel for work or study would be advantageous Knowledge of the following would be advantageous but not essential: - Environmental and Social international standards (World Bank, IFC, EBRD etc.) - Sustainability principles - National environmental regulation - Air and water dispersion modelling Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: - Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Italian and English.
