Position We are looking for an Expert Software Engineer in the Service & Application Management area to support Proprietary Trading activities on European, foreign and currency markets. The successful candidate will have expertise in financial markets negotiation and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in synergy with the team and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Contribution to the management of Fineco's trading services, with a focus on Liquidity Provider and Proprietary Trading. Identification and resolution of issues, also in collaboration with other ICT departments and suppliers. Analysis of application logs and management of reports from monitoring systems and stakeholders. Night and holiday on-call support, distributed among the support and development team. Incident management, activation of escalation procedures and constant updating of reports. Promotion and management of the evolution of monitoring and control systems to prevent incidents and optimize resolution times. Collaboration with the development team to guide the evolution and support the testing phases. Monitoring of SLA, with particular attention to HFT performance. Analysis and estimation of system capacity, based on monitoring data and trading system metrics. Execution of performance and stress tests and production of documentation required by current regulations. Preparation of trading services for Disaster Recovery tests and market testing, with related operational support. Continuous updating on the evolution of interconnected markets, impact assessment and definition of delivery plans. Configuration of trading systems based on project evolution and regulations. Support during hardware refresh and patching campaigns, in collaboration with other IT teams. Software delivery according to Change Management processes and risk mitigation procedures. Monitoring of project go-live and technical/functional support. Management of Trading Desk reports and first-level support. Support and management of testing and UAT phases with stakeholders. Updating of project documentation and monitoring of assigned projects. Preparation of documentation for regulatory controls (e.g. 262/2005). Data collection and documentation for governance and control functions. Promotion of ICT risk mitigation actions. Data collection and analysis of project requirements with the business. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Excellent knowledge of IT processes: SDLC, Project Management, Change Management. Experience with Linux, Oracle SQL. Strong problem-solving skills, even under pressure. Knowledge of complex trading systems and financial markets. Experience in negotiating cash, listed and OTC derivatives. Use of the Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with Change Management tools and incident management. Good knowledge of English. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with at least 5 years of experience and specific skills in Application & Service Management on trading systems. Technical/scientific diploma and at least 10 years of experience in the digital banking sector with specific skills in Application & Service Management on trading systems. Nice to have: Knowledge of Kubernetes and virtualization systems. Experience with internalization systems and platforms supporting financial markets. Ability to interpret Java, C++, Python, Bash code. Experience with NoSQL DB (e.g. Cassandra), Git, TortoiseSVN. Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g. MIFID, MAR). Use of Service Now and Project Management tools. Knowledge of Back Office activities for Listing and settlement of securities.
