This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and overseeing accounting functions to ensure financial stability, compliance, and profitability of the company’s real estate projects. The GM – Finance will also play a key role in investment planning, risk management, and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and investors. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liFinancial Strategy and Planning: ul liDevelop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives. /li liPrepare long‑term financial models and forecasts for real estate projects. /li liAnalyze market trends, financial risks, and opportunities to inform business decisions. /li /ul /li liBudgeting and Forecasting: ul liLead the annual budgeting process, including setting financial targets for departments. /li liMonitor and report on budget performance, ensuring expenses align with revenue targets. /li liCreate cash flow forecasts to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations. /li /ul /li liFinancial Reporting and Analysis: ul liOversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for the management and board. /li liAnalyze financial data, project costs, and profitability to guide decision‑making. /li liEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reporting. /li /ul /li liAccounting and Tax Compliance: ul liSupervise the accounting function, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with GAAP/IFRS. /li liEnsure timely submission of statutory returns such as GST, TDS, and Income Tax. /li liManage external audits and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. /li /ul /li liProject Financing: ul liIdentify and secure project financing from banks, financial institutions, and private equity investors. /li liNegotiate and manage loans, credit lines, and other financial agreements. /li liMonitor debt levels and ensure compliance with financial covenants. /li /ul /li liInvestment Management: ul liOversee the management of company investments and capital expenditures. /li liEvaluate potential acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures for financial feasibility. /li liEnsure proper management of working capital, including inventory, receivables, and payables. /li /ul /li liRisk Management: ul liDevelop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company’s financial health. /li liConduct internal controls and financial audits to mitigate risk. /li liEnsure adequate insurance coverage for company assets and operations. /li /ul /li liTeam Leadership: ul liLead and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure high levels of performance. /li liImplement professional development plans and conduct regular performance reviews. /li liFoster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department. /li /ul /li liStakeholder Relations: ul liServe as the primary liaison with banks, auditors, investors, and other external partners. /li liRepresent the company in negotiations with financial institutions and regulatory bodies. /li liProvide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the board. /li /ul /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liEducational Qualifications: ul liChartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) is required. /li liMBA in Finance or equivalent qualification is preferred. /li /ul /li liExperience: ul li15+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the real estate sector. /li liProven track record of managing large‑scale real estate projects and financial operations. /li liExperience in project financing, investment management, and risk mitigation. /li /ul /li liSkills and Competencies: ul liStrong financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data. /li liExpertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting. /li liComprehensive understanding of real estate accounting, tax regulations, and statutory compliance. /li liExcellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with financial institutions. /li liProficiency in financial software (Tally, SAP, etc.) and MS Office, especially Excel. /li /ul /li liPersonal Attributes: ul liHigh attention to detail and accuracy. /li liStrong leadership and team‑building capabilities. /li liAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines. /li liStrategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving. /li /ul /li /ul h3Working Conditions /h3 ul liPrimarily office‑based but may require visits to project sites and meetings with external stakeholders. /li liMay involve extended working hours during financial reporting periods or project phases. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
